Living on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically shifted. The world beyond our doors is a blur of its former bustle. We are now stuck within the walls of our homes, forced to adapt to a new reality. The days melt, marked by the cycle of online meetings, streaming media, and cooking. We long for the simple pleasures that were once assumed for granted: a stroll in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a chat without a screen amidst us.
This new existence has forced challenges, but it has also revealed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more creative, and more grateful for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are coming.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a difficult reality. Every day, you face boundaries that feel like an unbreakable wall. The world outside seems so close, yet it's separated by just six feet.
Sometimes, the burden of those bars feels overwhelming. You crave freedom with every fiber of your being. Each new day serves as a constant echo that you're confined.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a spark of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure for freedom can be an enticing force. Yet, paradoxically, it can too lead to imprisonment. This occurs when the very notion with freedom becomes twisted, transforming into a weapon for control and oppression.
Authentic freedom entails not only the absence for external constraints but also the development of internal spirit. When this inner base is lacking, even in a society that preaches freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the restrictions of their own beliefs.
Consequently, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to break free the constraints that restrict our potential, both externally and internally.
